ideas from the kips bay show house

Usually when my office closes early for a holiday weekend, I gather a bunch of home design magazines and find the perfect spot to while away the day with a glass of wine (I like the dark and cozy bar at Freeman’s in the winter, by the windows of Felix the rest of the year.)

This Friday of Memorial Day weekend, I, instead, went to the Kips Bay Decorator’s Show House to feed my soul with design ideas  – some stuff I’ve never seen before, some specific to my home, and some ideas that just generally delighted me.

Favorite Room designed by Suzanne Kasler | Garden designed by Daniel Richards Design | Bed designed by Olasky & Sinsteden | Double curtains designed by Les Ensembliers | Lauren Liess fabric | Bone Inlay Chest in room designed by Kati Curtis | Hallway designed by Unknown!

Clearly, Suzanne Kasler is my design spirit animal and the 2016 Kips Bay Decorator’s Show House was a rousing success!
