One day of our weeklong vacation to South Carolina, my mom and I walked the length of Kings Street scouring for antique and home stores. South of Market is always on point with cool vintage modern, industrial-like pieces. We visited two great french stores, the first had all the classic french pieces that are completely out of my price range. The other shop, Juxtaposition, was small with mainly some sweet french art and accessories. (I picked a piece of art that I’ll share once its framed.)
But one of my favorite stores is Mitchell Hill which, in addition to fabulous furniture and accessories, features amazing works by young, emerging artists. The pieces are affordable, by art standards, but also really intriguing. Here are my favorites from the curated shop display:
